Geraldine Fox, Chair of the PCC
and Patient Trustee
Kidney Cancer UK and Kidney Cancer Scotland are here for patients, carers and their families and as such we value constructive critique and input in to the charities’ overall look, perception and how we deliver our services. To this end, a Patient Community Council (PCC) has been set up.
The PCC is made up of volunteers from across the UK and consists of patients, carers and family members, chaired by our Patient Trustee, Geraldine Fox. The Council meets at least three times each year, and communicates regularly via email between meetings to liaise on how effectively the charities are delivering their service, as well as supporting research and working with partners on the development of a range of projects associated with kidney cancer.
Together Everyone Achieves More
The Council is an opportunity for patients and carers to get closely involved in working directly with the Charities and their partners, using their real experience to give the Charities the knowledge they need to better develop and improve support that patients and their families really need.
If you would like to become a member of the Patient Community Council, please contact us using the form below using the subject “Patient Community Council Membership”.
