Kidney Cancer UK & Kidney Cancer Scotland’s community collections scheme, Kidney Cancer Care, provides dedicated support for patients, their carers and families in the heart of your local area. Through our local team, we are able to present stalls, fundraise in community and offer information direct at a number of locations including supermarkets, football stadiums, shopping malls and town centres. Through your generous support, we can feedback into your local needs.
However, we need your help to build our teams to raise more awareness and funds in supermarkets, bag packing and collecting in the streets.
Being a collector involves:-
Holding bucket collections to raise funds for Kidney Cancer UK & Kidney Cancer Scotland. These might be in supermarkets, football grounds, or in high streets.
You will have contact with:
• Store Managers
• Contacts within organisations where the collections will take place
Bucket collections can be from an hour to up to approx. eight hours. If they are long collections,
shift patterns are needed to avoid fatigue.
This role is on an ad hoc basis, dependent on successful applications for Supermarket and street collection dates and licences.

• Buckets/Collection Tins
• Identity Badge
This is a commission-based opportunity of up to 25% of collected funds, although there are some team members who prefer to complete the work on a voluntary basis.
